Wimborne Folk Festival

   did four gigs in four days with two very successful festival gigs. The band look forward to a rest over the week to the thursday gig.

Salisbury Gigs

The success of the bands in Salisbury means Phoenix has two more gigs booked at the Chough- Thurs August 13th and Fri October 30th. We are at the George & Dragon in July, October, and For New Years Eve to see in the new decade. Which reminds me... we are now taking bookings for 2010 as We have no Fridays or Saturdays left this year!

Winchester Gigs

The Tour Trail continues with gigs booked at O'Neills and The White Swan. Allegedly these are the only two venues in Winchester doing live music for covers bands. If this is not true, please let us know in the Guestbook! So far no-one has told us, so I guess Winchester is not the thriving music scene we had hoped for!

Terry has set up a facebook account for the band. Please look for us using the search function on the site. It will be possible to upload photos of the band and keep informed about gigs etc.

The Antelope

Its good to see a venue building a successful live music night from pretty much nothing. We were the first band to play at the Antelope around two years ago, and now it is the place to be in Poole on Thursday evenings. It goes to show that with a little patience a great gig venue will grow with time, the right bands and the right people!
